Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. — Ephesians 3:20-21 (KJV)
Of all the names for God in the Bible, this is my favorite: “Him who is Able to Do Immeasurably More.” Our God is the same God who parted the Red Sea and fed 5,000 on a green hillside with only a couple of sardine sandwiches. He longs to do more than we can ask or imagine! Unfortunately most of us haven’t really given him much of a challenge with our wimpy dreams and shallow prayers. Let’s dream big dreams for God. Then hang on for the ride that is more than we can even imagine!–Phil Ware
For it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
“Be careful how you act; these are difficult days. Don’t be fools; be wise: make the most of every opportunity you have for doing good.” Ephesians 5:15-16 (LB)
Everyone has a dream. Maybe you’ve had it since you were a child. Maybe it came to you more recently. Desires, wishes, and ambitions should be a part of all of our lives. You may have hidden it deep inside of you, but you have a dream.
The question isn’t whether you have a dream. It’s “What are you doing with your dream?”
Now to Him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think-according to the power that works in you-to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
